I don't believe that it is "time" that heals all, because time could pass and you could still be sad, upset, or whatever emotion it is that you're feeling. It's really you who has to heal yourself. No one else is can do that. Of course, people can help. You might have amazing friends, family, a therapist, coach, teacher, etc who help you through tough times. They are just pillars of support. It's you who has to decide everyday whether to let a particular situation make you or break you. Some days you might wake up and not have strength to fight the demons inside you, so you feel like giving up and you let them take over, but that's okay. Other days you might wake up and feel unstoppable and don't let anything stand in your way, which, is also okay. Everything you feel is OKAY, and don't let anyone tell you different. It's unrealistic to believe that you'd be capable of having 365 happy days. Although, that would be an amazing thing. Honestly, it isn't something that everyone is able to accomplish. Just sit back and enjoy the roller coaster that is life, because in the end its the journey that matters more than the destination. What you do with your life is in your hands, because, life isn't about finding yourself, its about creating yourself. Believe in yourself and don't let people shame you because you're doing something they've always been too scared to do. Love your body, let your mind wander and be the person you've always secretly wanted to be!
As always, I would like to finish with this simple but strong quote that helps me in my toughest times :
"You are not your suffering.
You are not your past.
You are not your physical
appearance.
You are not your failures.
You are not your job.
You are not your degree.
You are not your family.
You are not your friends.
You are yourself, and ,only
you get to define who that is."
Have a Good Day!
